Our Stronger Sons Mentorship Program and In-School Mentorship Program are making waves, and we’re thrilled to share the exciting progress we’ve achieved so far this year! Designed to empower young men from father-absent homes, these programs combine fun and impactful experiences that equip our participants with life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging they can carry with them for years to come.
Our Stronger Sons Mentorship Program, meeting on the first and third Saturdays each month, has been filled with transformative activities that nurture both personal growth and joy. From our inspiring health sciences sessions in partnership with The Future is Now Nashville and Vanderbilt Medical Center, to age-appropriate group discussions and exciting recreational outings, the program is creating a well-rounded experience for our mentees. The boys have enjoyed both group mentoring sessions and activities like community service, academic enrichment, and trips that build camaraderie, foster teamwork, and introduce them to new horizons.
In addition, our In-School Mentorship Program at West End is off to a fantastic start. This program provides young men with consistent mentorship within their school environment, making a positive difference in their academic lives and personal development. It’s truly rewarding to see how our presence at West End has offered these students a reliable support system they can count on each day. The program has been so well-received that we’re gearing up to expand our in-school mentorship to reach even more students in Davidson and Williamson counties.
The success of these programs reflects our commitment to changing lives through mentorship. Each activity, field trip, and group discussion is designed to empower our young men, teaching them to dream big and work toward their goals with confidence.
