Chan Workman has been on the board of Stronger Than My Father since 2016 and has been a part of the Vaco LLC Finance team since 2008. He was raised in Franklin,
TN and received his B.S. (Accounting) and M.Ed degrees from Lipscomb University. Prior to his children heading to the University of Tennessee, he coached numerous youth basketball, baseball and softball teams in the mid-state area. His wife has been an educator and administrator at the Middle School and High School levels for over 20 years.
Beth is Vice-President and Relationship Banker for Fourth Capital Bank. She has lived in Williamson County for 21 years where she raised her 2 daughters who are in grad schools to be a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Athletic Trainer. She says, “hopefully they will help me in my old age by telling me what to eat and why my bones and muscles hurt.”
Beth earned Business and Economics Degrees from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia. She is Chair of the Women In Business for the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club,
A self-described serial entrepreneur, Tony Hunnicutt is the Chief Entertainment Officer of Games To Go LLC. Over his 30-year tenure in the amusement and entertainment industry, he has consulted with hundreds of small business owners around the world to help grow their business.
He is committed to the fundamentals of service and community. Tony has served in leadership roles his entire life from becoming an Eagle Scout to being a steering committee Chairman for Williamson Inc. He is also an active member of the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club and
strives to live by their motto of “Service Above Self”.
Tony is currently most passionate about the work he is doing with the Williamson County School’s Entrepreneur and Innovation Center where he serves as a Mentor and guest lecturer to inspire high school students about business ownership and growth.
He is from Chattanooga and moved to Franklin in 2015 after getting married. He has two stepsons that keep him at the soccer fields lots of weekends. He and the family enjoy hiking and camping.
Cheryl is a native Nashvillian who has served with Stronger Than My Father for the past ten years. She received her undergraduate degree in Recording Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University and earned her MBA from Bethel University.
Since her parents divorced at an early age, Cheryl knows the impact of growing up in a home without a father. She gives all glory to God for giving her the strength to successfully overcome many obstacles in her life and very much respects the many sacrifices her Mother and Grandparents made during her formative years. Cheryl is also grateful for other family members and various individuals she met along her journey who invested time, energy and resources into helping her become the strong God-fearing, African American woman she is today.
Cheryl is married to a wonderful, supportive and loving husband. She is committed to not only helping her own children and grandchildren become solid and productive citizens of their community, but also strives to do whatever she can to help others find their place in this world as well.
Tyler Richardson is the Agency Manager of Tennessee with COUNTRY Financial. Tyler was born and raised in Cookeville, TN, where he started his insurance agency with COUNTRY Financial. Six years later, he was promoted to Agency Manager in which he works with agency owners across middle Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Tyler and his family relocated to Franklin in 2021, where they now call home.
Tyler has a passion for enriching lives of the people he is around. He not only displays this passion in working with agency owners, but he also extends it to the individuals and communities he lives and works in.
Tyler and his wife, Berkley, have two children, Ava Grae and Parker. He holds his faith and family at high priority and devotes his efforts to live a life that reflects those priorities. They enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and spend the majority of their free time with family and friends.
Jena Potter moved from Lexington, Kentucky in 2018 to further her career in marketing and communications. After a year of volunteering as a Williamson, Inc. Ambassador, she was hired on as our Marketing and Communications Specialist and was later promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications. Jena holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications Management, is a graduate of Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute and is currently enrolled in a 35 week course to become dually certified with the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Digital Marketing Institute as a PCM (Professional Certified Marketer) and CDMP (Certified Digital Marketing Professional).
As Director of Marketing and Communications, Jena meets the marketing needs for both the Office of Economic Development and Chamber of Commerce. She leads research, analysis, planning and execution efforts for external event, program, resource, and brand promotion. Jena enjoys working with local media partners to educate and engage the Williamson County community and loves providing platforms for organizations to tell their story.
