Marcus Meneese
Founder and Executive Director
Marcus E. Meneese is the Founder and Executive Director of Stronger Than My Father, Inc., a Christian 501(c)(3) organization created in 2013. The organization’s mission is to educate, inspire and transform today’s youth to fulfill their God-given purpose.
For the past 20 years, Marcus has actively worked as a youth mentor. He believes his purpose is to coach and develop youth to become responsible adults and good parents, preparing them to become ‘Stronger Than Their Fathers.
In 2016, Marcus launched the Hope Leadership Academy, which is the flagship program of Stronger Than My Father. The Hope Leadership Academy (HLA) is a Christian afterschool program preparing pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students to succeed in life by providing academic assistance, access to technology, character development and spiritual enrichment through critical formative years. HLA provides afterschool services to a diverse group of over 70 students who attend school and reside in the local Antioch, TN community.
In the summer of 2022, Marcus re-launched his Stronger Sons mentoring program. Stronger Sons mentor program will focus on personal responsibility, dream building, and the importance of nutrition and physical fitness. In addition, the young men in this program are surrounded by male role models who are outstanding leaders in the community.
Marcus is a Nashville native, who graduated from Tennessee State University with a BS Degree in Psychology and holds a Masters degree in organizational leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. Marcus and his lovely wife LaToya are the proud parents of two sons.

As a passionate and exhilarating speaker, Marcus Meneese delivers an energized message to youth or adults to help them reach their God given purpose. He shares his own life experiences and knowledge to help others think about how to live out their dreams.
On Marcus’ Podcast, "Stronger Than My Father", he talks about different issues regarding fatherless children, suicide, education, fatherhood, police brutality, and other relevant issues in our country. He wants to bring consciousness and support to the community.
Marcus has a heart to help people from youth to old. Utilizing powerful delivery and freshly emerging insights Marcus’ customized presentation will teach, inspire, and engage your audience to new levels of accomplishment.

Renee Jones
Director of Program Operations and Events

Renee’ Jones is currently the Director of Program Operations and Events at Stronger Than My Father, Inc. In this role Renee’ is responsible for the leadership, direction and coordination of all organizational programs and community engagement initiatives.
Renee’ joined the team in 2021 and has served as Program Coordinator, as well as Program Director of Hope Leadership Academy, the school age service entity of STMF. With over 20 years of experience, she has dedicated much of her career to working with youth, families, and non-profit organizational leadership.
Renee’ earned a bachelor’s degree in theology with a concentration in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership from American Baptist College, in Nashville, TN. Additionally, she received vast academic training through TECTA (Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance) at Tennessee State University, where she obtained the TECPAC (Tennessee Early Childhood Program Administrator Credential) for program directors, as well as certification in school- aged, based program leadership. She attended Northlake College in Irving, Texas and was certified as an individual and family mediator, specializing in conflict management and dispute resolution.
Renee’ has previously been successful in a variety of roles, some of which include, Director of Preschool, Program Coordinator, Trainer, and served as a youth program director with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. To add, she is the owner of The Mobile Preschool, an early childhood education company that provides one on one and small group academic instruction to children aged three years old to first grade.
Renee’ is a licensed and ordained minister; the mother of four amazing children and grandmother of two. She possesses a strong passion and genuine love for youth and believes there is a divine purpose that guides her in this work.
